The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has proposed a modification on it’s current standards for broadcasting news. Right now there is an overall ban on broadcasting any false or misleading news. They want to change that. Does that sound illogical to anyone else?

Free speech suspension?

There are lots of good reasons to suspend someone. Fighting (the instigator, not the victim preferably), verbally or physically abusing others at the school, drug use or dealing, vandalism and bullying. Those are all good reasons to suspend a student. But suspending a student for speaking their mind? Not so much.
